Description
First of all, Blaxx pedals from Stagg are inexpensive. The solid metal case is rather unusual in this price range. The fact that the parts still sound usable is almost a miracle. The delay in particular cuts a fine figure. Structured analogously, it allows delays of up to 600ms, which is completely sufficient for most applications. From short slap backs to sprawling endless echoes, anything is possible. Anyone who likes to turn the knobs during the signal flow will be surprised at the cryptic, spacy sounds that can be elicited from the tiny device. The pedal is very well suited to fatten up a lead sound with a weaker second signal or to fill staccato rhythm parts with more life.
It is pleasing that the pedal does not distort the sound and background noise is not perceptible.
