The Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpans are custom-made products that are elaborately handcrafted. The stainless steel material is almost water and moisture resistant. These handpans are built to last a lifetime. They produce clear, clean tones when struck by hand. The tone is pleasantly soothing, allowing these instruments to be used in a variety of applications for both performance and therapy. Stainless steel handpans are easy to play, have long sustain and a wide dynamic range. Each handpan is tuned all around with a central note and additional notes, allowing the player to play as a solo instrumentalist as well as with a group.

These handpans are equipped with two resonance holes on the bottom: one pointing towards the player and one pointing towards the listeners.
