The JV Modified Series combines classic aesthetics with modern playability to meet the needs of today's guitarist. Following in the footsteps of today's highly coveted "Japanese Vintage" reissues of the early 1980's, the JV Modified guitars are a refined take on a modern classic. The '50 Stratocaster HSS features a resonant basswood body and is fitted with a pair of single- Vintage-style coil pickups in the neck and middle and a powerful humbucker pickup in the bridge position. A push-pull pot on Tone 2 splits the humbucker pickup for brilliant single coil tones, making this Strat extremely versatile. The maple neck with a soft "V" profile has a smooth satin finish, and the 9.5" radius maple fingerboard and medium jumbo frets provide unbeatable playing comfort. For players looking for classic Fender instruments with an innovative twist, the JV Modified Series offers a unique combination of vintage Fender style and modern playability.
