The black felt rim combined with the high-quality vintage corduroy made of 100% cotton covers approximately one-third of the head, preserving the natural sound of your drum. The magnetic RimMount system holds the MuffBites securely to the steel rim and also allows them to be used on the resonant side. They reduce overtones, minimize sustain, and ensure a precise, dry sound with a clear response. Included padded metal clamps allow for use on cast iron rims for maximum flexibility.
