Description

The tasteful designs of the WALDEN steel-string guitars are based both on the classics in the history of western guitars, the so-called dreadnoughts, and on more recent designs such as the Grand Auditorium. All bodies and necks are fully bound, emphasizing the skilfully simple elegance and beauty of the models. Each guitar is adorned with a WALDEN logo, real mother-of-pearl on most models, an inlay consisting of two rings around the sound hole and its characteristic head and bridge design. Each steel-string guitar features scalloped X-top reinforcement made from spruce, a 2-way truss rod and, on the SupraNaturas, a bolt-on and extra-reinforced neck - all typical features of handcrafted high-end guitars.

Experienced musical instrument connoisseurs rightly speak of today as the golden age of guitar making. Never before has the knowledge of the deep secrets of the modern acoustic guitar been so present. Only those instrument makers who recognize these signs of the times and consistently incorporate them into their craft are able to produce guitars that meet the demands of today's ambitious and demanding musicians. Walden guitars combine the most important characteristics that characterize such a contemporary premium acoustic guitar: Beauty - visible in the details - the result of a successful combination of first-class materials with tasteful craftsmanship. Quality - audible in the fine facets of the sound and immediately noticeable in the easy playability - the result of many years of experience in the implementation of promising specialist knowledge and uncompromising precision. Only selected, high-quality tonewoods are used in the construction of Walden guitars. Before processing, the wood supplies at Walden are carefully dried for several years. An important building block to bring long-lasting joy to players of Walden guitars.
