Description
The Model 620's all-solid maple body features the famous "Cresting Wave" cutaway, based on an innovative design from the 1950s. The rosewood fingerboard has beautiful triangular mother-of-pearl inlays. The body and neck are bordered all around. The electronics of the 620 correspond to the 300 series, Rickenbacker's own high-gain single coil pickups and stereo output are also installed here. The 620 is still built according to the original specifications and is further fine proof of the absolutely high-quality Rickenbacker craftsmanship.
The model 620 from year 2017 comes with a fretboard made of Caribbean Rosewood (Metopium Brownei) and is therefore not subject to the CITES Appendice 2 requirements.
