With the electro-acoustic Martin SC-13E guitar, the traditional American manufacturer has come up with something very special and proudly presents a compact steel-string guitar in S-13 Fret design with cutaway. Despite the relatively small design, the guitar can build up an amazingly loud and defined sound thanks to a Sitka spruce top and a Koa Fine Veneer body, which transports particularly warm mids and expressive high frequencies. The special thing about the SC-13E is the neck/body transition at the 13th fret, which conveys the playing feel of a short-necked guitar, but is still equipped with a normal scale length of 645 mm. The flat neck made of selected hardwood, with a nut width of 44.45 mm and a noble ebony fingerboard, makes it child's play to grip all 20 frets. Chic open-gear nickel tuners are enthroned on the characteristic Martin headstock and, in combination with a tortoise pickguard and a striking mother-of-pearl inlay with Celestial Blue Dot on the 12th fret, give the instrument an extremely aesthetic appearance. The Martin SC-13E is rounded off with a Fishman MX-T pickup system and a stable Martin soft-shell gig bag.
