With the Gold Series, Cort introduces a new, solid acoustic guitar series with thermally treated ("torrified") tops and bracing. Cort calls this process "Age To Vintage", which simulates the aging process of the ceiling over the decades. Right from the start you get that wonderfully full, balanced sound rich in overtones that you know from old, well-played instruments. The very thin UV coating of the Gold series supports the excellent vibration properties of the guitar. In addition, the "Doublelock Neckjoint" was developed as another important element for the best possible sound, which improves the transmission of vibrations by means of an additional screw connection of the neck to the body.
